How does a session at Rico Schinkel Art & Tattoo look like:

Or you can drop by our studio in Bøkeliveien 11.

When you book an appointment with us, we reserve the entire day for you. The first part of the day will be a consultation, where you and Rico discuss the design you want, and Rico creates a sketch. Once you're satisfied with the design, Rico will begin the tattooing process.

We are not a typical street shop, so the session will feel private. However, you are welcome to bring a friend or family member. We have a TV, and you can watch your favorite shows, YouTube, or Twitch channels, or listen to music.

It's important to bring enough food and drinks, as a session can last between 2 to 10 hours, depending on the size of the tattoo and how long you can sit comfortably. Wearing comfortable clothes that you can sit in for a while is also important, and avoid wearing clothes that you are worried about getting dirty. If you tend to get cold easily, we recommend bringing a blanket and possibly a pillow for your comfort.

Cover up:

I have 30 years of experience in covering up old or poorly made tattoos. Many people come to me with tattoos they regret, such as trend tattoos like tramp stamps, “From dusk to dawn” inspired tribals, Chinese symbols, and stars. Most of the time, I can help them leave the studio with a tattoo they can be proud of. If I can't help, I will be honest and never attempt something I'm not confident will work out.
